ONE 60-MINUTE ZOOM CALL

  • 1 hour
  • 100 US dollars

Service Description

The setting of healthy boundaries during the divorce process is a critical step towards personal growth and healing; clear boundaries will help you define your objectives, protect your emotional and physical well-being, and assert your independence. In order to establish boundaries with your former partner, we will need to identify the types of behavior or actions that trigger negative emotions, or cause harm: this can include anything from excessive or negative phone calls or texts, to undue interference in your personal life. But there are other kinds of boundaries that need to be put in place – with your ex’s family, with common friends, with your children, and even in yourself. In this 60-minute zoom call, we will cover - When to start setting boundaries - How to establish boundaries with your ex’s family, with common friends, and in your social milieu - How to keep a child-first mindset while limiting communication and access - How to create boundaries in a new home without the influence of your former partner - How to establish which messages are important, and which must be ignored - How to implement the BIFF method of communication - How to communicate your boundaries clearly and consistently to your former partner and the other agents involved
